On 6th February 2009 Vikas called me up and asked me to join a group of young enthusiasts who are passionate about working on some social issues. I instantly agreed to meet as I too was looking forward for an opportunity to get involved in some social service. We all met in Sukhsagar Hotel in Koramangala the next evening at around 6pm.
We - Bagare, Ganesh, Sumanth, Rajanikanth, Sandesh, Vikas, Avinash, Somashekar, Dharmendra and Prem were the highly charged guys.
After icebreaker session of circumspect self introduction, slowly the gang began to open up. After a round of refreshments all were speaking their minds out about what exactly each was planning to do. Some amount of brainstorming led to narrowing down our activities to educational and health care related issues.
We all left with a vision to build an organization which will be name accordingly later and go out there and make difference in the betterment of the downtrodden.
After a lot of deliberations and a few days later, all of us agreed on naming our NGO as "The Samarpan Foundation". The name is goes well with our motto of dedication. Dedicating ourselves to the cause education and rural health care.
Requesting all the members to blog regularly as we are all busy in our day to day activities and we cannot meet on a regular basis.
